On Tuesday, Dec. 14, the Corona Art Association held its annual Christmas Party and Potluck Dinner. We enjoyed music and good food, a craft, and each other's company. We also unveiled the Artist of the Year 2021. Artist of the Year is awarded to the CAA member artist who has earned the most points for their entries in our bimonthly art shows throughout the year. The honoree is given a solo art show and celebration reception in the spring and has their name engraved on a brass plate and mounted onto our perpetual award plaque. This year, we are pleased to honor CAA member and gift shop coordinator, Artist of the Year 2021, Lani Britain!
Lani was profiled in the Artist Spotlight column in our July-August edition of the Palette. https://www.coronaartassociation.org/newsletters
We have one last chance for the kids to create holiday art this year! Lori Alarcon is teaching a gingerbread house paint-along workshop for kids 8-18 years old this Saturday. The class is only $15 per child, and includes all supplies. Please sign up online: https://www.coronaartassociation.org/upcoming-events
