Amidst the confusion caused by the Covid19 shutdown, we were saddened to learn of the passing of (Albert) Eugene Piester, widower of founder Maxine Piester, on April 6, 2020. According to his obituary, Eugene died peacefully of natural causes at the age of 97. Eugene was a pillar of the Corona-Norco community and a WWII veteran. A memorial service is being planned.
