Our final art show of 2022 is now hanging in the gallery until just Dec. 13. We have to cut the hang-time short this year due to upcoming redecorating in the gallery! Many thanks to the volunteers who have coordinated this much needed make-over, and the City of Corona for granting us the funds to do so. Members: please be prepared to take home your art and any other personal items at the Tues., Dec.13th general meeting, or no later than Sat., Dec. 17th.
The online winners gallery will be available soon, in the meantime, please enjoy this look at the "Inspired by..." winners! And check our social media channels over the next couple weeks for all our entries.
Holiday Boutique this weekend!
We will have lots of unique Christmas, Wintery, Festive, and other amazing art objects, cards, jewelry, ornaments, and more! And our prices are AMAZING!!!
Shop 12-4pm on Saturday, Dec. 3, and extended hours on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 10am-8pm, including during the City's Tree Lighting festivities. We have just the thing to complete your holiday decorating as well as cards and gifts for everyone on your list. All items are hand-crafted by CAA member artists and part of the proceeds comes back to CAA to support ourselves so we can continue to bring art opportunities to the Corona-Norco-Eastvale areas.
And don't forget we have a plethora of items in our Gallery Gift Shop all year-round!
Holiday Card Open Studio
On Saturday, Dec. 3 starting at 1pm we'll be hosting a Holiday Card Open Studio! Join CAA members in a communal card-prep afternoon writing our Christmas/Holiday cards to friends and family. We'll listen to holiday tunes and snack on holiday fare (pot luck style, so bring something to share!). Take advantage of CAA's vast stock of pre-made cards, stickers, stamps, and other art materials for a $5 donation, or bring your own! Have a pile of old cards from past years? Bring them to exchange with others for fresh ones!
In collaboration with the Woman's Improvement Club of Corona, we will also be donating our time and materials to prepare 100 holiday cards for the residents of Peppermint Ridge! Please join us in helping make the holidays brighter for these amazing folks.
General Meeting and Holiday Party
Our final members' general meeting of 2022 will occur on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 6-8pm in the Community Room at the Historic Civic Center. We will be announcing our Artist of the Year 2022, the results of our election and surveys for the art show themes for 2023 as well as the winner of the 60th anniversary T-Shirt Design Contest. Following the meeting, we will commence our annual Holiday Party, which will feature an optional White Elephant gift exchange and light supper and desserts. (Unfortunately, our previous catering plans fell through).
We are asking for $10 cash from each attendee to be paid at the Gallery. Please RSVP for this members-only event online here so we know how many to expect: https://www.coronaartassociation.org/event-details/general-meeting-holiday-party
