Did you know that March is National Craft Month? That's right, according to the National Day Calendar website, in 1994, the Craft & Hobby Association created National Craft Month to help people rediscover and learn about the benefits of crafting. They suggest you observe National Craft Month by:
Attending a craft fair.
Learning about selling your craft.
Sharing your skills and teach someone your craft.
Supporting businesses that sell handmade crafts.
Taking a class and learn a new craft or skill.
And of course, CAA can help you with ALL of those things and we have a full month of arts and crafts activities to help you get in touch with your creative side.
On March 3, CAA member artist Kim Mabon hosted a Giant Paper Rose workshop which was well-attended by members of CAA and the community. Look at these happy people and their amazing creations!
CAA member artist Kathryn Duncan helped a local Girl Scout Troop earn their drawing badge on March. 9. The girls explored various 2-D mediums for their badge with this fun and imaginative project.
Take-in for our March/April 2022 "Dreamscapes" art show is this weekend! Bring in your fantasy, abstract, and other fun and funky art... however you interpret "dreamscapes", Friday, March 11-Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 12-4pm.

Art happens here!
The Corona Art Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts organization that has been serving the artistic needs of our communities since your participation in our events and donations help us to continue to support visual arts education and enjoyment for free or low-cost to residents of all ages and abilities. Thank you.
We especially need donations to our Adaptive Art classes for kids and adults with special needs. These are taught at the Corona Library 100% by volunteers.
