The deadline for our 3rd annual Springtime Virtual Art Challenge (online art show) is coming up on Friday, April 22 at 5pm! This year, it's easier than ever to enter! As always, entering is completely FREE for K-12 CNUSD students, and adults in any Inland Empire city or community can enter 2 pieces for just $10. The kids category winners will get ribbons from CAA, and the adults 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will split half the proceeds we earn from take-in. On Tuesday, April 12, CAA had our monthly General Meeting. We shared news and updates, welcomed new members, and made these adorable Easter and Spring themed jelly-bean jars from recycled containers. Our next meeting is on Tuesday, May 10.

Members Only: CAA members, if you would like to donate a piece of art to be included in the Rotary Club's silent auction at this year's Lobsterfest, please bring it to the Gallery before May 1. The Lobsterfest event attracts hundreds of people each year, and will help raise funds and awareness for the Corona Art Association!

We are collaborating with Leyenda Ballet Folklorico Dance Company to bring a costumed live model to the CAA Gallery for an opportunity to draw, paint, or photograph 6:30pm on Thursday, April 21! This is a wonderful opportunity for you don't want to miss. Please sign up as soon as possible, as we need a minimum of 5 participants to make it worth the model's time. Each spring, we award scholarships to CNUSD graduating seniors who will be majoring in some form of visual arts in college.
